Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

At Matty’s Driving School, we offer Class 5 Driver’s License training and refresher courses for drivers of all experience levels.

Can I rent a car for my road test?

Yes! For the Cruise Control and Overdrive packages, you can reserve the car for your road test during your last hour of instruction. Car rental for road tests is also available separately at $85 per hour.

How do I sign up for lessons?

You can enroll in lessons through our website by selecting your preferred package. Following registration you will receive a link for your online classroom portion. After receiving your competition certificate for the online classroom portion of the course, you can proceed to schedule the remainder of your lessons.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

The student must provide at least 24-hour notice for cancellation or rescheduling of any lesson. If 24-hour notice is not provided, the lesson will be forfeited. A student cannot reschedule more than three times. In extenuating circumstances, management will work toward a solution.

If a customer wishes to discontinue their participation in the program, they may request a refund for any unused classes. Refunds will be issued on a pro-rata basis for the remaining classes that have not yet been attended or scheduled. To be eligible for a refund, the customer must submit a written request at least 24 hours before the next scheduled class. Please note that no refunds will be provided for any classes that have already been attended or scheduled.

The online portion of the course must be completed within 90 days from the date of enrollment. Failure to complete the online portion within this timeframe will result in the forfeiture of access to the online materials, and no refunds will be provided. Once a student has enrolled in the classroom portion of the course, no refunds for the classroom portion will be provided if the student decides to terminate the contract after enrollment, regardless of attendance or participation.

If a student fails to pass the course within three attempts, they will be required to re-enroll in the course. A re-enrollment fee of $55 + tax will apply for each subsequent attempt.

Do you offer in-person classroom sessions?

What happens if there is bad weather on the day of my lesson?
